Full Journal pdf1999-05-17 House Journal Page 1554 SB 171 The following was again before the House with Amendment No. 2 as amended (page 1551) moved and pending: HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 171(RLS) "An Act relating to the release of certain records and reports required by the Department of Fish and Game regarding fish, shellfish, or fishery products and reports of fish buyers and processors; relating to the transfer of land to the state; and providing for an effective date." Representative Cowdery placed a call of the House. The call was satisfied. 1999-05-17 House Journal Page 1555 SB 171 The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 2 as amended be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS SB 171(RLS) Second Reading Amendment No. 2 as amended YEAS: 8 NAYS: 32 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Berkowitz, Croft, Davies, James, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Whitaker Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, Joule, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Sanders, Smalley, Therriault, Williams And so, Amendment No. 2 as amended was not adopted. Representative Murkowski moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS SB 171(RLS) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 3. Representative Bunde objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 3 was offered by Representative Murkowski: Page 4, line 22, following "project": Insert "; (C) a conveyance of rail properties of the Alaska Railroad under the original Alaska Railroad Transfer Act of 1982 as set out in Title VI, P.L. 97-468; in this subparagraph, "rail properties of the Alaska Railroad" has the meaning given in 45 U.S.C. 1202(10)" Representative Murkowski moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 3 be adopted. 1999-05-17 House Journal Page 1556 SB 171 Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 3 was adopted. The question being: "Shall HCS SB 171(RLS) am H pass the House?" Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Berkowitz gave notice of reconsideration of his vote on HCS SB 171(RLS) am H, and the reconsideration was taken up later.
